Purpose of our Investment

At our church, we have been taught Seed Time and Harvest through Genesis 8:22, which is a principle of our giving.  For years our Founder Bishop Hugh Thomas has shown us how to live your life dependent on God through SEED!  To the right of this tab, we have one of  Bishops Sermons titled "Born Again".   In this excerpt he speaks about how he came to learn about giving differently than how he was taught to give in his early years.

Difference between SEED and Tithe & Offering

Here at ALM we have two different forms of investing.

  1. Tithe & Offering
  2. SEED


Both of these are very significant to the kingdom of God.  The word of God teaches us that we are to give 10% of our income to the House of the Lord.  That is a given, but one thing we believe here is that you always come to the house of the Lord with a gift in your hand, which is where SEED comes into play.

SEED is for what you are believing God to do.  This SEED is planted over and above your Tithe & Offering for something you are believing a harvest for in any area of your life.  This Investment is also for souls, missions, outreach, and much more.   We take giving very seriously.  This is why we allow you to tell us what you are believing God to do with the SEED you plant.  We want to come in agreement with you and that your SEED will produce an Abundant Harvest
